This Refund Policy ("Policy") sets forth the terms and conditions governing refunds for GetQRFree's services. By purchasing any subscription, credit package, or incurring overage charges, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by this Policy.
This Policy should be read in conjunction with our Terms of Service.
1. Subscription Refunds
1.1 Monthly Subscription Plans (Solo, Micro, Pro)
GetQRFree offers a tiered refund structure for monthly subscriptions based on the timing of your cancellation request:

1.3 Subscription Renewal Refunds
- Automatic renewals are clearly disclosed prior to initial purchase
- If you fail to cancel before automatic renewal, refund requests will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis
- We recommend setting a reminder before your renewal date if you intend to cancel
1.4 Prorated Refunds
GetQRFree does not provide prorated refunds for:
- Partial month usage
- Unused days within a billing period
- Features not utilized during your subscription
2. Overage Charge Refunds
Overage charges are fees incurred when your scan usage exceeds your plan's included quota.

- Provide Evidence: Include screenshots of unusual analytics patterns, if available
- Investigation: Our team will analyze your scan logs, examining:
- IP address distribution and patterns
- Temporal scan patterns (unusual spikes)
- Geographic anomalies
- User agent analysis
- Determination: If malicious activity is confirmed, we will refund all related overage charges
- Recommendation: We will advise you to change your "Spending Cap Behavior" to "Pause Redirects" for future protection
Investigation Timeline: Typically 3-5 business days, complex cases may take up to 10 business days.
2.3 Charges NOT Eligible for Refund
The following overage charges are not refundable:
- Charges resulting from normal, legitimate scan activity
- Charges incurred while "Continue Redirects, Notify Only" was selected
- Charges that could have been prevented by proper spending cap configuration
- Charges disputed more than 30 days after the billing date
3. Credit Package Refunds
Credit packages are one-time purchases that provide a fixed amount of credits for use within 30 days.
3.1 Refund Eligibility

When downgrading from a higher-tier annual plan to a lower-tier plan:
- No cash refunds are provided for unused prepaid amounts
- Remaining balance may be converted to:
- Credits for future use, OR
- Extended service at the lower tier
Example: A Pro annual user ($390/year) who downgrades to Micro after 6 months would have approximately $195 of unused value. This would be converted to credits or used to extend the Micro subscription.
5. Refund Request Procedure
5.1 How to Request a Refund
All refund requests must be submitted via email to:

- Order/Invoice number (found in your billing history)
- Reason for refund request with relevant details
- Supporting documentation (if applicable, especially for malicious traffic claims)
5.2 Processing Timeline

6. Non-Refundable Situations
